Seasonal Server - Eataly Flatiron

EAT authentic Italian food at our restaurants, cafés and to-go counters
SHOP a selection of high-quality Italian, local and homemade products
LEARN through our classes and our team’s product knowledge A Server coordinates the entire service station and communicates with front of the house and back of the house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Reports to the Restaurant Manager.
Greets guests and presents them with the menu
Informs guests of specials, menu changes, answers questions regarding food, beverages and allergies
Receives food and beverage orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system
Communicates with the hosts, table support team, kitchen staff and bartenders to coordinate stations
Presents, opens and pours wine and beer when serving guests
Assists table support team with stocking work stations, removing and resetting used dishes/silverware
Assists with cash register at counter-service restaurants
Performs other duties as required or assigned High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of the sequence of service and dining room procedures
Excellent communication skills
Basic math skills
