The Bus Person is responsible for supporting the In-Room Dining operation by ensuring guest rooms, suites, and villas are properly prepared for service and maintained throughout the dining experience. This position assists with delivery support, table maintenance, equipment retrieval, and cleanliness standards while contributing to a seamless luxury guest experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with the setup and breakdown of In-Room Dining tables, trays, and service equipment.
Clear used china, glassware, flatware, linens, and service items from guest rooms and suites in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service pantries, hallways, and work areas.
Transport trays, carts, and service equipment safely throughout the resort.
Support Food Server Assistants and Food Servers during meal periods by fulfilling service requests and assisting with dining room logistics.
Ensure all service presentations meet departmental standards.
Stock and replenish service supplies and amenities as needed.
Complete assigned opening, closing, and side work duties.
Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
Provide courteous, professional, and efficient service to all guests. Must be able to communicate effectively in English; a second language is a plus.
Minimum one year of experience in restaurant, hotel, banquet, or food service operations preferred.
Ability to transport heavy trays, carts, and service equipment safely.
Strong time-management
