Overview The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Fine Dining Restaurant Server to join the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. A server’s primary responsibility is to ensure exceptional dining experiences for guests. A friendly and professional demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will contribute to the overall success of the establishment. Responsibilities Greet guests and welcome them in a friendly manner Take drink orders and follow policy regarding service of alcohol Know the menu and be able to explain menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to guests Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared and delivered on time and together Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and good presentation, and timed so the entire table is served within a reasonable time frame Check on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction and address requests/concerns Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and bring issues to management Collaborate with fellow servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service Responsibilities include complying with all federal and state laws, including the FLSA tip regulations regarding tip reporting, sharing, and minimum wage requirements Qualifications Aspire to our values of being passionate, strive for excellence, remain relevant, collabora
