As Host Person - The Buffet at Wynn Las Vegas, you will serve as the first and last impression of the restaurant, creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless arrival experience for every guest. This role requires exceptional hospitality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume luxury dining environment. Host Persons are responsible for maintaining reservation systems, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring each guest receives service consistent with Wynn's Forbes Five-Star standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional guest service consistent with Forbes Five-Star standards and Wynn Las Vegas service expectations.
Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and engaging demeanor while creating a memorable first impression.
Manage guest check-in procedures, waitlists, reservations, and seating assignments to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Accurately utilize reservation and table management systems to monitor dining room capacity and guest flow.
Coordinate with management and service staff to maintain optimal seating availability and minimize guest wait times.
Provide guests with accurate information regarding restaurant offerings, operating hours, menu selections, and special events.
Anticipate guest needs and professionally assist with special requests, accessibility accommodations, and service recovery opportunities.
