GENERAL SUMMARY: At Atlas Restaurant Group, the Bartender will greet guests, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. Bartenders will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant guest • Interact with guest, take orders and serve food and drinks • Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails, classic and specialties • Check guests’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies • Perform daily and weekly cleaning duties • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register • Stay guest focused and sustain an excellent guest experience REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
